Changing the channel is quite simple. Just switch receiver and body pack on. Hold the body pack approximately 100mm from the receiver - holding the the IR detector on back ( the small hole bottom left) in front of the IR window (next to the number display) on the front of the Receiver Unit.

Then press the ASC button on the Receiver unit, and the ASC button on the Bodypack.

The numbers will flash, and once the body pack has picked up the new channel, the amber A or B light on the receiver will then light up.

Just remember that the 2 Infra red 'eyes' need to see each other.
